Shitty Plastic Lens

I rediscovered a bunch of photos I took almost a year ago at Qatar's birthday party. Aside from the fact that I'm shook it's been a year already, the nostalgia of the camera I used is a bittersweet memory. My first mirrorless camera was a pink Fuji XA3, it fell out of use once I started shooting with big girl XT3 & 4, but it remained one of my favorites ever. Fast forward to now, I sold my entire Fuji collection and I kind of miss them every time I shoot anything.

These pictures are a result of DIY hot glue and a point and shoot lens. I had no problems gutting a Harman disposable for this project because let's be real, the disposable cameras were pure shit. The photos that emerged as I affixed the plastic lens onto a Fuji front cap are soft and bloomy. Focus? Not really, but kind of. It's all dream vibes.

These were the last photos to come out of my XA3 before she was sold to some nice ladies going on vacation from Ebay.

Where ever she ended up, I know she's living her best life traveling the world. Or at least, that's what I tell myself.
